Covering politics, culture, fashion, celebrity and other topics, our aim is to strive to continuously uplift and promote the positive aspects within our diverse community. Being mindful in our critiques of our culture we aim to not follow the pitfalls society has placed upon our culture, to accurately provide information that is fair and with no bias. While understanding that we can be critical of events and people within our community we want to keep our heads held high and our minds open.
TheNoirEffect.com at its core, is here to take control of Our Image and present it Our Way. Hence our motto: Our Image, Our Way. Through hard work and struggle our community has made its ascent to great heights of achievement in education, politics, entertainment and business forcing society to set aside its long held narrow views of our possibilities. History has showed us we live in a society that has in many ways aimed to regulate those contributions to a mere footnote in history and to devalue their impact. These actions, though not necessarily intentional, but nonetheless are disheartening to those of us striving to keep the legacy and dream alive for those great souls that paved the great path before us. TheNoirEffect.com is here to celebrate those achievements and empower us to be greater, reach higher, and DREAM bigger.
TheNoirEffect.com will strive to ensure that we fairly report the information pertinent to our community while not only being informative, humorous, and entertaining at times, but to also make sure that our judgments are not made to demean our image or to jump on the bandwagon to destroy the personalities, organizations and events apart of our culture.
TheNoirEffect.com aims to be a place where all people no matter what background can come to be informed on all things connected to Black Culture. While we value and look forward to the comments that our current and future followers will post we however will not tolerate any hateful, derogatory, mean spirited or otherwise demeaning responses to any of our post.
