Rihanna is set to make her big screen debut in an upcoming film based on a popular 1980’s Hasbro game.
The international Pop-star will make her cinematic debut in Peter Berg’s Battleship. The deal for the film was closed yesterday but as of yet does not have a definitive role for the star.
Filming is set to begin soon due to the fact that the studio is aiming for a summer 2011 release date, hoping to capitalize on the summer blockbuster dollars.
Rihanna is currently finishing up her Last Girl on Earth tour which has seen dates in Europe, the Middle East as well as in the U.S.
