Snoop Has Something for the Ladies & Kids

Snoop Dogg, Hip-Hops leading purveyor and curator of all things cool and smooth, is set to pay tribute to the ladies out there.

In an effort to align himself with his massive female audience, Snoop has stated that he will make his next album much more female friendly.

Over the years Snoop’s female audience has battled between their love for Snoop’s artistic genius and some of his lyrics which have been viewed by some as misogynistic, even with Snoop defending himself by stating that his rhymes may be in your face and hardcore but he is speaking about a specific type of female and not females as a whole.

Snoop gave a hint that he’d be having something special for the female fans when he made an appearance on ABC’s The View and told the panel of women that include the legendary Whoppi Goldberg and comedian and actress Sherri Sheppherd, that he because of his mother, grandmother, wife and daughter that he owed it to his female family members to make music that uplifts and sends a positive message to his female fans.

Snoop said recently, “I gotta tone it down. I’ve always given my female fans bits and pieces and I feel like I owe them a whole record.”

Snoop, who is also an avid supporter of projects that provide youth with positive choices and outlets. He will head to Chicago on Friday to start a chapter of his Snoop Youth Football League which has become highly successful in his native Los Angeles and whose members have competed on a national level.

It’s apparent that Snoop is looking to expand the league in cities other than Chicago, but Chicago will become the first city as apart of the expansion. There will be a free clinic consisting of 200 kids from the Chicago Housing Authority.
