Forbe’s magazine announced their Celebrity 100 list which details the most powerful people in entertainment and the iconic Oprah Winfrey along with international superstar Beyoncé Knowles.
Forbe’s compiles their list using metrics from media mentions online, in print, television, radio, and other media outlets as well as income made within the last year.
Winfrey, as usual, toppled the competition when it came to big dollars. She earned a staggering $315 million as the host of her eponymous talk show, as well as her O, Magazine, and producing endeavors. She’ll launch her OWN Network next January.
Music superstar, owner of her own fashion label, Knowles, the non-stop performer came in second. She earned $87 million dollars through touring, business endeavors and several product endorsements. She and husband Jay-Z had earlier been noted as the biggest grossing celebrity couple of the last year.
