Legendary singer-songwriter, composer, activist, and all around music royalty Prince, will be honored at this years BET Awards ceremony.
Price will receive the Lifetime Achievement honor at the BET Awards ceremony and will join the likes of past recipients such as Diana Ross, Whitney Houston, Rev. Al Green, and James Brown.
The show, which airs June 27th, will be hosted by Hollywood powerhouse Queen Latifah and will also feature performances by Kanye West.
BET has confirmed that the tribute to Prince will be like no other that they’ve had before and will showcase Prince’s unique musical style.
