Elle, the world’s leading and largest fashion magazine will team up with Grammy-nominated singer-songwriter Kelis to celebrate the first annual Women in Music event.
The event will take place at New York City’s Highline Ballroom on June 9 and Kelis will be one of the featured performances at the inaugural event.
Elle wants to give attendees an up-close and personal look at the female artist that will be featured in the July issue dedicated to the women in music.
The July issue will feature a far ranging group of talented female artist whose photos were shot around the world from Paris to Nashville will including Rihanna and Alicia Keys.
Elle looks forward to the first event going down with spectacular flash and is excited about bringing the event to life each year. Elle’s Editor-in-Chief Robbie Myers said, “I am thrilled to finally bring the Women In Music portfolio to life in what is to become a yearly event.”
