Mo’Nique showed up on the Academy Award’s red carpet looking absolutely stunning with her husband Sidney Hicks. She was joined by several black entertainers and what was to come was no major surprise to any of those that have seen her performance in Precious.
Mo’Nique finished the awards season with the most prominent award of all, the talk show host, comedian, and stellar actress, picked up her Academy Award this evening for Best Supporting Actress.
Others in attendance for the ceremony were former Best Supporting Actress nominee Queen Latifah, who looked stunning on the red carpet, Lenny Kravitz, who was accompanied by his beautiful daughter Zoe, the legendary Morgan Freeman, Precious producers Oprah Winfrey and Tyler Perry as well as Best Actress nominee Gabourey Sidibe.
