The Queen of Rock and Roll, Tina Turner, and superstar and non-stop entertainer Beyoncé Knowles have made it onto Billboard Magazine’s “Money Makers” list.
Turner made the bulk of her earnings from her sold out arena and stadium tour to mark her half century in the entertainment field. The tour, Tina!: 50th Anniversary Tour had grossed over $130 million worldwide.
Knowles made the bulk of her income as well from her tour, but also made over $2.3 million from album royalties as well.
Rapper Lil Wayne proved that 2009 was a great year as well for him on the money making end of the spectrum. With the success of his “Lollipop” song Wayne was apart of the top 40 too.
The late musical genius, Michael Jackson made the list too, earning his estate millions of dollars.
