People came together during that election campaign like the world had forgotten how to, producing a fantastic social environment around the globe.”
Actor Jimmie Wilson portrays the 44th U.S. President. The musical begins in a flat-share in Chicago with residents including a racist middle-aged German widow, an African-American woman named Shirley, played by Martha Wash, and an out of work Puerto Rican. They all together become infused in the Obama movement and are able to put aside their differences.
